Pues el momento llego, “Get On Your Boots” la primera canción que sale al aire del tan esperado nuevo disco de U2 “No Line On The Horizon”. Tras haberla escuchado cientos de veces (no exagero) deduje lo siguiente…

Siendo sincero la primera vez que la escuche me quede escéptico varias horas y pensando “¿Qué diablos les paso?”, pero tras esto y escucharla varias veces la precise mejor. No puedo mentirles que revise cientos de páginas y blogs de fanáticos, y mucha gente decía que no era lo que esperaba.

Ahora puedo decir que me retracto, al final me gusto mucha la canción pero no la veo mucho mejor que Elevation o Vértigo, es por esto que tengo fe que el disco no sea como la canción.

El Bajo de Adam en la canción resalta en cada momento, En la Batería Larry demostró que es uno de los mejores bateristas, el ritmo con que toca es superior a los anteriores discos. The Edge, aunque el riff es sencillo es pegajoso y suena bien, el estribillo hace que la canción cambie de ritmo y tiene un toque de influencia marrueca. Y por ultimo el estilo de cantar de Bono es nuevo, es más POP o RAP y creo que veremos a un nuevo bono más alocado.

No creo que esta canción sea la Vértigo o Elevation del disco, si vemos su posición es la sexta y creo que la verdadera canción va ser “No Line On The Horizon”. Ahora en otro asunto, la portada del disco la veo acorde con el titulo del mismo pero con esta canción no, es por esto que espero el resto del disco para deducirlo mejor.
